Kaki Reddy- CEO
Kaki Vasundhara Reddy started her career as an architect in India before coming to US and obtained a Master’s in Computer Science. She currently works at Texas Instruments in the Educational Technology Products division developing tools such as calculators and educational software for teachers and students. She combined her passion for architecture and educational services by starting a Montessori school in 2005 and developing all of the 5 corporate schools. She used her skills in architecture to come up with a franchise building design that is modern, efficient and low cost. She used her experience in operations and people management to establish and drive the schools and developed a lot of the processes that are in use today. The concept did so well that she built a franchise organization and has been awarding Montessori school franchises across US. Currently she has 10 total franchises at various stages and targeting 10 more by next year end. Currently the company employs over 250, which include teachers and administrators and provides Montessori education for more 1000 children across United States. She has served more than 7,000 children since inception of the first school in 2005. Her goal is to reach 10,000 children served by end of next year and reach 50,000 within 3 years after that. Alex Freeman – President
Alex Freeman is the president and co-founder of Pinnacle Montessori. He began his career in the research and development. Alex has now turned his innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit to the child education industry and software tools for this industry. He is passionate about the Montessori method and recognizes that innovation in this industry comes from encouraging the employees to think creatively and through cutting-edge technology-assisted operations. He was highly inspired by Maria Montessori’s philosophy and sacrifices to improve the human learning potential and dedicated his focus to take the Montessori method to the next level in the education sector. He has a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from University of Chicago.
Krishna Bhaskar – Vice President, Franchising
Krishna Bhaskar brings over 10 years of business development and franchising experience to Pinnacle Montessori Franchise. Prior to Pinnacle, Krishna played a key role in growing the North American franchise footprint for Cash America International. He also served as the Vice President of Operations for Cliff’s Check Cashing Company, on to the most successful financial services chain in North Texas.
Krishna’s expertise lies in giving the wholesome picture of the business opportunity without biases or self-interest. Our franchisees can attest to the friendly, humble and quality support franchisees receive through their journey with Pinnacle.
Krishna graduated from UT Arlington with a degree in Business Administration. He lives with his wife, Mona Bhaskar and his two lovely daughters in the city of Frisco. Krishna has true passion for serving the community. He is currently the Director of Frisco Indian Affairs Committee and is honored to serve on the advisory board of Frisco Education Foundation whose mission is to provide financial resources to maximize student potential in the Frisco Independent School District (FISD) through educational programs, student scholarships and grants for FISD innovative educators. Krishna is also the President of Bhojpuri Association of North America, an organization committed to preserve the culture and festivals of few North Indian states.
Cathy Moore – Director of Franchise, Operations
Cathy has a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M in Curriculum and Instruction, Master’s degree from Texas A&M Commerce in Educational Mid-Management, as we as an Associate’s degree from American Montessori Association in Lower Elementary Education. She taught 7th and 8th grade Life/Earth Science for seven years in both Garland and Plano ISD. She was also a Dean of Students for three years in Plano ISD. She was introduced to Montessori as a stay home mom when her oldest daughter was 4 years old. Her daughter was one of the first students to attend Heritage Montessori Academy in Murphy along with Kaki and Alex’s daughter. A year later, the director of Heritage asked her to acquire her Montessori degree, develop and teach the new elementary program. This one event set in motion many wonderful endeavors in the Montessori world. Cathy developed a very successful elementary program that incorporates both the Montessori philosophy as well as public school. Knowing most children would eventually attend public school, she wanted to prepare them for standard testing and many other things they would encounter. The program she developed is still in place in Pinnacle Montessori’s today. After teaching for four years, Cathy became the Director at Heritage Montessori in Murphy. She was the director for one year, when she was offered the job of Regional Elementary Curriculum Director for Heritage Montessori in Murphy and Allen as well as Pinnacle Montessori in Keller and San Antonio. This opportunity was short lived when the Director for Keller suddenly took ill and had to leave. Upon her departure, Cathy filled in as the Director of Pinnacle Montessori of Keller the first semester. The second semester, Cathy assisted in writing the operations manual for the Pinnacle Montessori Franchise. Since then she has been substitute teaching in Plano ISD and spending quality time with her two teenagers. She is now on her new adventure into the Montessori world as the Director of Franchise Operations for the new Pinnacle Montessori Franchises.
