Our Pre-Primary Program supports children who are ready to move beyond the toddler stage but are still developing the skills needed for the Primary classroom. It also welcomes children who are working toward toilet independence, providing patient guidance and respectful support throughout this important transition.

Language grows rapidly during the Pre-Primary years. Teachers introduce new vocabulary through conversations, songs, stories, object-naming activities, and daily classroom experiences. Children are encouraged to express their needs, listen to others, and become more confident communicators.
Early literacy experiences help children notice sounds, recognize familiar symbols, and begin making connections between spoken and written language. Materials such as sandpaper letters provide a concrete introduction to letter shapes and sounds.
Mathematics is introduced through activities involving counting, sorting, matching, comparing, and recognizing quantities. Children work with number counters and other Montessori materials that make early mathematical ideas clear and understandable.
Social development is supported through shared activities, cooperative play, and respectful classroom routines. Children practice waiting, taking turns, caring for materials, and communicating with classmates. These everyday experiences help build empathy, patience, and a sense of community.
