The Pre-Primary environment is thoughtfully designed for children between 18 months and 3 years old. During this stage, language development accelerates rapidly as children begin learning new words, combining them into phrases, and expressing their needs, thoughts, and emotions more clearly.<\/span><\/p>

The classroom provides many opportunities for children to strengthen communication through carefully presented lessons, songs, stories, conversations, and daily social interactions. This important stage is often called the \u201clanguage explosion,\u201d when a child\u2019s vocabulary and ability to communicate can grow at a remarkable pace.<\/span><\/p>

The Montessori multi-age classroom positively supports each child\u2019s academic, social, and emotional development. Younger children observe and learn from their older classmates. Older children gain confidence as they model classroom routines, show empathy, offer help, and occasionally demonstrate familiar activities. The Pre-Primary classroom serves as a gentle bridge between the Toddler and Primary environments. Children do not need to be fully toilet trained when entering the program. Educators provide clear guidance and then give children enough time to practice and complete each task.
