Our Montessori Infant in Post Oak Crossing school is a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for babies between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 months. We love, respect, and listen to every infant who is in our care. Our specially trained staff and faculty work hard to mould naturally curious kids, who have interests that they can pursue, and are actively involved in their learning process.
Our infant Montessori program offers a unique learning experience for your child. The curriculum is based on the Montessori Method, which emphasizes hands-on learning and allows your child to progress at their own pace. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art and music, that are designed to enrich your child’s education. We strive to offer to be the best infant Montessori school in Frisco.
This beautifully designed classroom is set up for those wee ones who do not walk or crawl and those who have progressed to crawling and toddling. Pinnacle’s specially trained Montessori teachers focus on little ones who range in age 6 weeks to 13 months. The classroom is brightly lit and activities are planned throughout the day to provide your child the love, attention, and learning, you would expect from a Montessori environment.
Our Montessori teachers begin verbalizing to your child, naming the environment around them. Dr. Montessori teaches that children are in the midst of the developmental stage of the ‘Absorbent Mind’, meaning your little one is taking in data surrounding them at a rate that will be heretofore unmatched throughout the rest of their lives, this stage continues to about the age of six years of age. This is the very reason babies learn their mother tongue without language lessons! There will also be activities for large motor skills, colors matching, and shape matching. There will be songs and finger plays, story time, everything the ‘big kids’, also known as ‘Toddlers’, will experience, the little ones will, at their own developmental level.
Caregivers teach language skills so that montessori infants can learn how to have their needs met. For example, if a child points to an item they want to play with, the caregiver reinforces the motion by naming the items. That way the child will learn to use the name of the object.
Pinnacle Infant Montessori School is a great place for your child to learn and grow. Our experienced and caring staff will help your child reach their full potential. We offer a variety of programs and services that are designed to meet the needs of each individual child.
Our infant montessori school has separate areas for walkers and non-walkers. Each group has its own physical exercises. Non-walkers engage in rolling and other activities. Babies who can walk engage in play activities that encourage climbing and other gross motor skills. We also have activities that encourage pushing, grabbing, and other fine motor skills, such as grabbing food from a plate and using utensils.
