Our infant Montessori program in Post Oak Crossing provides a loving, caring, and nurturing environment for babies between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 months. We love, respect, and listen to every infant in our care. Our specially trained teachers nurture each child’s natural curiosity, help them discover their interests, and encourage them to become active participants in the learning process.
Our infant Montessori program offers a unique learning experience based on the Montessori Method. Through hands-on activities and individualized guidance, children are free to develop at their own pace. We also provide enriching experiences, including art and music, that support each child’s overall development. We strive to be one of the best infant Montessori schools in Post Oak Crossing.
Our beautifully designed classroom supports infants at different stages of physical development, including those who are not yet crawling, those who are crawling, and those who are beginning to walk. Pinnacle’s specially trained Montessori teachers care for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 13 months.
The classroom is bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Activities are planned throughout the day to provide the love, attention, care, and learning experiences families expect from a Montessori environment.
Our Montessori teachers support language development by speaking to children and naming the objects and people around them. Dr. Maria Montessori described early childhood as the stage of the “Absorbent Mind.” During this period, children naturally absorb information from their surroundings at a remarkable rate. This stage continues until approximately six years of age and helps explain how babies learn their first language without formal lessons.
Children also participate in age-appropriate activities that support gross motor development, color and shape recognition, and sensory exploration. Songs, fingerplays, and story time provide additional opportunities for learning and connection. Infants enjoy many of the same experiences as toddlers, adapted to match their individual developmental levels.
Our infant-class teachers are loving, attentive, and specially trained to care for young children.
Your child will be cared for, supported, and treated with the same love and attention we would give our own children.
We value clear and consistent communication. If you have a question or concern, our team is only a phone call away.
Parents have the option to use our secure camera login for additional reassurance and peace of mind.
We are an American Montessori Society-affiliated school dedicated to supporting our children and families.
Our caregivers support language development so infants can learn to communicate their needs. For example, when a child points to an object they would like to play with, the caregiver names the object. This helps the child connect the spoken word with the item and gradually learn to use its name.
The infant program at Pinnacle Montessori of Post Oak Crossing provides a supportive place for your child to learn and grow. Our experienced and caring teachers help each child reach their full potential. We offer thoughtfully designed activities and services that address each child’s individual needs.
Our infant Montessori classroom includes separate areas for walkers and non-walkers, allowing each group to participate in developmentally appropriate physical activities. Non-walkers practice rolling, reaching, and other early movements. Babies who can walk participate in activities that encourage climbing, balancing, and other gross motor skills.
We also provide activities that strengthen fine motor skills, including pushing, grasping, picking up food from a plate, and learning to use utensils.
Open the door to a nurturing Montessori environment where your child can grow academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.
