I am a proud mother of three children, all of whom are now adults. My journey in early childhood education began at Solano Community College, where I studied toward a teaching degree. During that time, I volunteered at the campus Child Development Center so my youngest child could attend the program while I continued my education.

My original goal was to become a kindergarten teacher. However, once I began working with younger children, I quickly realized that early childhood education was my true calling. While attending college full-time, I also operated an in-home childcare program at Travis Air Force Base.

My family later relocated to Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada and then to Cannon Air Force Base in New Mexico. While living in New Mexico, I worked as a two-year-old classroom teacher for nine years. I also completed my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education at Eastern New Mexico University.

Our next move brought us to Randolph Air Force Base in the wonderful state of Texas. There, I accepted a position with the State of Texas as a Child Care Licensing Inspector. For six years, I regulated and supported more than 90 childcare programs throughout San Antonio and the surrounding communities. This experience gave me a deep understanding of childcare standards, safety requirements, and the importance of creating high-quality learning environments for young children.

I later joined Pinnacle Montessori as the director of the Bulverde location while preparing for the opening of the new Schertz school. Today, I am proud to lead Pinnacle Montessori of Schertz. I truly love our school community and feel grateful for the opportunity to serve our children and families every day.
