Our beautifully designed Infant Montessori classroom welcomes children from 6 weeks through 13 months of age. The environment supports every stage of early movement, from babies who are not yet crawling to those who are crawling, pulling themselves up, and beginning to walk.
The classroom is bright, peaceful, and carefully arranged to provide a safe and comforting experience. Designated spaces for mobile and non-mobile children allow every baby to move, rest, and explore safely at their own developmental level. Dr. Maria Montessori described the first six years of life as the stage of the “Absorbent Mind.” During this period, children naturally take in information from the people, language, routines, and surroundings they experience every day.

Mobile and non-mobile activity areas are separated to help every child explore safely. Weather permitting, babies may also enjoy outdoor buggy rides. When outdoor time is not possible, appropriate movement experiences may take place in the gymnasium.
